Tarox 2 Piece Grooved Performance Brake Discs for MINI GP3 and 306 Bhp JCW
Traditionally, to upgrade to a 2-piece brake disc, a complete brake kit upgrade is required where the MINI OEM caliper is replaced. To avoid this, Tarox has engineered a solution that allows this 2-piece disc and alloy bell to fit directly to the GP3 4-pot Brembo caliper. Achieved by mounting the bell using reversed bobbins allowing the 6mm hex head bolts to come through the back of the disc and screw into specially adapted nuts.
The 360mm grooved design helps improve braking performance by dispersing heat more efficiently from the disc to improve the lifetime use of both the disc and brake pad allowing you to increase the time spent out on track and not changing braking components. Improving the cooling ability of your brake discs will also reduce the possibility of brake fade occurring, which ensures you retain maximum braking performance whenever you may need it.
Finally, another advantage of upgrading to the Tarox F2000 MINI GP3 brake discs is the weight-saving they provide (2kg per disc). Lighter brake discs mean a reduction in unsprung mass that can help improve stopping ability and handling performance.
These discs are from the Tarox F2000 line of brake discs, which are manufactured in Italy and heat-treated for maximum strength and durability. TUV approved, hand balanced and anti-rust treated, these discs are a great option for any MINI.
This brake disc is also suitable for the MINI Countryman (F60) and MINI Clubman (F54) JCW 306 bhp variant that uses the same engine and brake set up as the MINI GP3.
