In their own words: EPTG Ltd (European Polyurethane Technologies Group) was formed in the UK in 1996 to take advantage of the significant advances made in the development of polyurethane in recent years.

The company has wide experience of automotive suspension and chassis systems and combining these design skills with advanced polyurethane manufacturing techniques led to the development of the wide range of high performance automotive polyurethane components now known the world over by the product name POWERFLEX. The company operates in a self-contained state of the art factory, manufacturing everything in-house.

The stainless steel components are machined on the latest computer controlled equipment to ensure perfect repeatability and quality. The moulding and tooling, design and manufacturing is carried out within the factory ensuring very rapid response time to special projects and complete communication between development, prototyping, testing and manufacturing departments. Component manufacturing is carried out with the latest automatic processing equipment ensuring 100% right first time quality. Testing of new components is carried out both on the vehicle and on test rigs.

POWERFLEX and Lohen, in POWERFLEX's words: "All of these factors combined make POWERFLEX the number one selling performance bushes in Europe and the ideal partner and suspension bush supplier for Lohen."

Lohen and POWERFLEX: Over the years, Lohen has always sought to support excellent British businesses wherever possible and POWERFLEX is a superb example of our commitment to locally developed and manufactured products. We've worked hard to supply POWERFLEX with thoughts, ideas and suggestions for products to improve on the MINI and always received great support and feedback.

Back in the heyday of the Gen 1 MINI, Lohen recognised a fault with the Supercharger Tensioner Assembly damper that meant the unit was rattling when pushed as a result of significant engine tuning. Lohen approached POWERFLEX with the issue, keen to offer an alternative to OEM for our many track and fast road customers. POWERFLEX didn't disappoint and quickly set about designing and manufacturing a Damper Bush to eliminate the problem. The product was taken to market and it was an instant success with the MINI community, solving a problem they'd experienced quickly and cost effectively.

Over the years Lohen has continued to feed information back to POWERFLEX to further strengthen their product range. We are delighted to say we only deal with POWERFLEX and consider their polyurethane bushes the very best you can fit to your MINI. And now, with the introduction of the Black Series range to complement their purple and yellow fast road range, we now have a bush to suit all your MINI's needs.
