Lohen Events Round Up – Donington Park & Himley Hall
Lohen MINI Only Track Evening – Donington Park – 6th May
Our latest Lohen MINI only track evening at Donington Park Derbyshire was another fantastic event, with a full line up of cars and drivers enjoying an evening dedicated entirely to MINI models.
It was brilliant to see so many familiar faces returning, while also welcoming plenty of new drivers joining us for the first time. The paddock had a great atmosphere throughout the evening, with a real mix of experienced track day regulars and those taking their very first steps onto the circuit.
That’s exactly what makes the Lohen MINI only events so popular. For drivers with a little less experience, being surrounded by fellow MINI owners creates a much more approachable and enjoyable environment. Without GT3s and M3s charging past at every opportunity, drivers can keep their eyes forward, build confidence and focus on learning the circuit and improving their driving.
The weather was kind to us too. Although temperatures were a little on the cool side, it actually made for near-perfect track conditions and plenty of strong performance throughout the evening.
We also had a selection of our own demonstrator and project cars out on track:
True to her name, Trouble certainly caused a little drama during the evening, we suffered unfortunate shredded auxiliary belt. There were a few breakdowns across the paddock during the session, but that’s all part of track life. We’ll get repaired, get back out there and go again.
If your MINI needs some post track maintenance, repairs, or you simply want a little more power and handling to gain an edge over your mates next time out, get in touch with our team who'd be happy to help.

British Mini Club Meeting – Himley Hall – 11th May
On Sunday we headed over to the British Mini Club Meeting at Himley Hall Staffordshire
It was another brilliant day with a fantastic mix of classic Mini and modern MINI cars on display, along with owners from across the community. The variety of builds, restorations and modified cars made for a great atmosphere throughout the event.
A big thank you to everyone who stopped by the Lohen stand to say hello.
We were showcasing a wide range of our own manufactured parts and upgrades, all developed from decades of hands-on MINI experience. Products on display included:
- Lohen Billet Rocker Cover for MINI Gen 1 R50/R52/R53 models
- Adjustable control arms
- Performance pulleys
- Wheel spacers
- A range of precision engineered MINI performance components
It was great speaking with owners about their current builds, future plans and helping people find the right upgrades for their cars.
We’d like to thank everyone who attended both events and helped make the weekend such a success. We’re already looking forward to the next one.
