One of the best ways to increase the power on a MINI Cooper S is to turn up the boost. The Cravenspeed Supercharger pulley will create more boost by spinning the supercharger quicker. There are 2 types of pulleys available, 15% and 17% reduction from standard.

15% is most suited to competition, or for the MINI driver that pushes their car most of the time as the strain on the engine is less. The 17% pulley is better suited to drivers that want more power for occasionally short bursts, although can be used more competitively if you uprate your standard intercooler to accommodate for the increased temperatures.

Cravenspeed's Reduced Supercharger Pulleys are formed perfectly and should never throw or chew through your belt as long as the correct size is being used.

The Cravenspeed Reduced Supercharger Pulley will increase power output by between 15 - 20 BHP.

Do I need to fit an intercooler if I have a 17% reduced supercharger pulley? Yes, we find that the Inlet Air Temperatures (IAT's) get very high with the standard intercooler. As well as making your MINI engine run safer, a top quality aftermarket intercooler such as the GRS Motorsport version will also allow you to use all of your MINI's potential right the way through the rev range as the ECU will not pull the power back due to overheating. We also suggest a shorter belt and a good set of colder spark plugs!

Lohen offers professional, in-house fitting for all products at our workshop in Eccelshall, Staffordshire. Here are the important things you need to know: Fitting Cost - £270 Fitting Time - Approximately 3-4 Hours Required Additional Items/Services - a shorter auxiliary belt and uprated intercooler, such as the GRS top mount intercooler, if you choose to run the 17% reduced pulley. Lohen Recommends - Using a colder rated spark plug and fitting a tensioner stop while installing the pulley.

Returns and Refund Policy - Refunds are available within 7 days after delivery for products that are unused and are in original packaging. Special order goods are non-refundable. Products that are damaged in transit to or from the customer can be refunded up to 14 days after the product has been delivered. Products returned to us in imperfect, non-resalable condition will not qualify for refund. Products that are faulty due to manufacturing process are refundable under the manufacturers' warranty for a limited time specified in the manufacturer's terms and conditions. These do not apply if the product has been fitted incorrectly or mis-used, motorsport use could further reduce the manufacturer's warranty. If an order is cancelled or refunded the buyer is responsible for the return of the goods to such address as directed by the supplier and is at the consumer's sole expense. This does not affect your statutory rights.
