EBC Greenstuff brake pads are a popular upgrade for MINI drivers looking for stronger, more confidence-inspiring braking without sacrificing everyday comfort. Greenstuff pads are engineered with a high initial brake effect, meaning the moment you press the pedal, the brakes respond sharply and predictably. This immediate bite gives MINI drivers greater confidence during fast road driving, emergency stops, and high-speed braking.

Cleaner Braking – Reduced, Easy-to-Clean Dust

Although all brake pads naturally produce dust, Greenstuff is designed to generate less dust than many OE or aftermarket alternatives. The dust that is produced is lighter and easier to wash off, helping to keep your MINI’s wheels looking cleaner for longer.

Better Performance Than Stock Pads

With a nominal friction coefficient of 0.55, Greenstuff offers around 10–15% more braking performance than standard pads. This results in shorter stopping distances and improved brake response during everyday use.

Ideal for Road Use (But Not For Heavy Track Work)

Greenstuff pads handle spirited street driving well, including higher-speed braking with improved resistance to fade. While some drivers do use them for hillclimbs or occasional light track work, they are not intended for dedicated track use.
For harder driving, EBC recommends:

• Yellowstuff – fast road / occasional track

• BlueStuff / RP / SR Series – full race pads

Here are the important things you need to know: Fitting Cost - £90 Single Axle, £180 Both Axles Fitting Time - 1 Hour, 2 Hour Both Axles Required Additional Items/Services - If your brake pads need changing and you have a warning light on your dash then it means your wear sensor has been used. This will need replacing and to save hassle we can do this for you. Lohen Recommends - If you are looking to upgrade further or want to go on the track, we would recommend Redstuff Pads as these are best suited for track use as they only have a hot biting point. Although you can't use these for everyday use on the road.
