The TUV approved stainless steel aftermarket Evolution exhaust system with an integrated resonator and end muffler is equipped with adjustable tail pipes made of titanium or carbon fibre.

Details 
Akrapovic exhausts are known not only for the quality of their products but also for the styling of their tailpipes. The titanium and carbon designs found on their evolution systems are also available to fit on your standard exhaust.

Using a unique resin that can exceed the heat tolerance of stainless steel Akrapovic tailpipes are resistant to extreme temperatures as well as corrosion and dirt from the road. The titanium or carbon finish is wrapped around a titanium alloy core meaning a durable yet very lightweight product. The final design feature is their logo laser engraved on to each trim.

Please note that these pipes will suit the standard exhaust system, are a bolt on item and will not provide any power gains however they can be fitted in just minutes.

The Alta Blow-Off Valve (BOV) upgraded spring is a brilliant way of allowing your MINI to hold more boost between gear changes. The stiffer spring works as the OEM item does at gentle throttle however under hard acceleration it will retain more pressure in the boost hoses when you are changing gear leading to a more responsive car and less turbo lag.

Alta have tested their spring up to 40psi (more boost than you could ever need) without any signs of fatigue or failure and state that the Custom Made Heat treated 17-7 Stainless Steel can survive over 7 million cycles.

The spring is stiffer than the JCW item and thus is geared towards owners that are running higher boost pressures than standard. Easy installation makes this not only cost effective but also brilliant value for money.

The Alta air intake system for the Gen2 Cooper S follows on from the strong performance gains engineered from their Gen1 Cooper S system. Using a high flow foam filter element with an increased surface area improves performance and response of the Gen2 Cooper S engine, with a proven 10bhp and 10ft-lbs of torque increase. This system includes a silicone intake hose with smooth internals to ensure air-flow isn't disrupted. Also, a lightweight aluminium shroud to secure the filter element in place. This intake system is used on our Gen2 Cooper S demo car and has been tested to ensure its compatibility within the UK. Due to differences in UK and US MINIs, we provide an adaptor to suit UK MINIs where US MINIs have a MAF sensor, this is only available through Lohen. This kit is only available in back.

Alta Air Intake System Version 2.0 (Gen1)

This the most comprehensive induction kit for the Cooper S. Complete with heat shielding and induction hose, improvements in power and throttle response can be seen by fitting this kit. The heat shield attaches to the top of the original air box on the MINI. The heat shield then seals to the top of the bonnet when its closed which helps to prevent heat soak from the engine. An induction hose is also included in the kit which aids air flow before the air enters the throttle body. The hose and filter come in black and the heat shield is available in black only. This kit suits manual gearbox Gen1 Cooper S models only.

The Alta Cat-back system for the Gen2 Cooper S improves the performance and sound of your MINI. As the system has a 3" internal diameter straight the way through its perfect for a turbo powered MINI, larger power gains can be seen. In testing, Alta found gains of 10bhp at the wheels and 10 ft-lbs of torque. While 10bhp is very noticeable, the most noticeable advantage you will find is that the turbo spools quicker providing roughly 200RPM quicker spool. This quicker spool means more low end power! The Alta Lightened & enlarged crank pulley reduces the rotating mass of the engine, increasing horsepower and torque of the engine. The advantage of fitting an enlarged crank pulley is that it increases the boost pressure of the supercharger. This can be used as well as a supercharger pulley e.g. fitting a 2% enlarged crank pulley with a 15% supercharger pulley is in effect like fitting a 17% supercharger pulley. This is not recommended for use on 19% supercharger pulleys.

Alta Oil Catch Can

The Alta Oil catch can is designed to catch excess oil which if not captured can enter the intercooler and prevent the cores from breathing properly. This can limit the intercooler's effieciency at cooling the air before it enters the engine and therefore sap power. Complete control of your MINI is important. Increase steering response while braking and accelerating with the Alta Positive Steering Response System (PSRS). The Alta PSRS replaces the front wishbone rear bush with a solid connection. Getting rid of this overly compliant bushing, gets rid of "wondering" when larger wheels and tyres are installed. In turn, Alta offset the bushing to provide added caster, and anti-lift features. On Gen2 MINIs, you may require either a Gen1 or Gen2 antenna depending on your factory options. 

The fool-proof way of checking which antenna you would need is to remove your original antenna, hold it upright and to measure across the bottom of the thread. 

If the thread is 5mm wide you will need a Gen1 antenna: part numbers 100 is a 4", 105 is a 2"
If the thread is 6mm wide, you will need a Gen2 antenna: part numbers 101 is a 4", 106 is a 2"

The Alta Gauge pod makes good use of the rev counter casing by attaching just behind it. This gives great visibility for up to 3 gauges next to the rev counter.

Due to the design of the gauge pod the tilt function on the steering wheel is not compromised and can still be used without binding or damaging the dashboard. The pod uses the existing mounting points on the back of the tachometer which means there is no need for modifying or damaging your interior.

Gauge pods are priced individually and suit a 60mm gauge ONLY (such as the Defi).

One of the best ways to turn up the power on a Cooper S is to turn up the boost. The Alta Supercharger pulley will create more boost by spinning the supercharger quicker. There are 2 types of pulleys available, 15% and 17% reduction from standard.

The Version 2.0 pulleys feature a stainless steel supercharger shaft coupler with installation site aperture and the first to offer direct torque technology. Ultra light aluminum body decreases rotational inertia and overall weight. Oversized belt retainers and belt groove teeth increase belt grip. AP Coilovers are an entry level suspension setup and will allow you to lower your MINI from anywhere between 20mm and 50mm. Height adjustable coilovers provide a simple lowering solution as well as improving the handling and ride of your car. 

The AP kit features pre-set damping which provides a great compromise between sporty driving, comfort and safety. The damper bodies are zinc coated to aid rust prevention while the blue powder coated springs and blue anodised platforms look fantastic.
