What is a Superchips Bluefin?

The Superchip Bluefin is a handheld device that allows anyone to remap their MINI simply and quickly. Remapping changes the air/fuel ratio to give you more power and performance. We send the device out to you in the post to your address wherever you are in the world. By yourself you can remap the car in 5 minutes from your own home or wherever you like with the Bluefin. The device does not need to be returned and is yours to keep. This eliminates the need to visit us to have your car remapped for more power. You do not need a laptop or PC, all you need is the Bluefin and your MINI.

There are noticeable gains to be had by remapping your MINI with a Bluefin. Better throttle response, bhp and torque increases, better fuel economy and an overall improvement in the driving experience. Figures of improvements are shown below. The Process: Once the Bluefin arrives with you, you can then remap the car. The device comes with fully illustrated instructions. The device plugs into your diagnostic port underneath your steering wheel so there is no need to open the bonnet. Once plugged in the Bluefin will talk you through the process asking you a few 'yes' or 'no' questions. The device will read your standard map that comes with the car, it will then store the standard map on its memory. From its database it will then choose a Superchip map that suits your car best. Once it has chosen this, the device will begin to download the new map to your car. Once this is finished you are ready to hit the road. This whole process takes no longer than 5 minutes and is really simple to use and requires little or no technical knowledge.

This process is completely reversible, the Bluefin can be plugged in and can return your car to standard in less than 5 minutes. Then when you like you can plug the Bluefin back into your car and put the remap back on for more power. This process can be done as many times as you like and there is no limit on how many times you remap the car.
